Like NETS for Students, NETS for Teachers is useful for all teachers, whether they are a technology teacher or a classroom teacher.
There are so many ways that a classroom teacher can incorporate technology into his or her school day. Some teachers I know have a a wide variety of technology equipment available to them (SmartBoards, etc.) and happen to be the ONLY USER of these tools within their school building.
Those who shy away from technology in this day and age are going to miss out on many simple forms of technology available to them and their students. Those who utilize the opportunities available to them are going to find that technology will further enhance their "already-brilliant" everyday lessons!
